What does syndicated mean?

It means that the horse was sold in shares. Usually there are about 40 shares. The owners sell the shares at, in this case $1.25m each. They would probably keep some shares back for themselves. It's a way spreading the risk. Tigerboy1966 (talk) 19:34, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
